Yard Sale Pitch £18 - Sun 25th Jan

This is a pitch for the yard sale on the above date, a pitch is big enough for a 6ft table and a single rail. A table is now included with all pitches. Pre-approval is not needed, but all participants must follow our terms and conditions below. 

Terms and Conditions for Yard Sale Participation

By participating in the yard sale event, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

These rules are in place to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and community-focused environment for all

attendees and participants.

General Rules

1. Non-Commercial Event

• This is a non-commercial event intended solely for the sale of personal goods and

items.

• Any individual found selling commercial goods or representing a business will be asked

to leave immediately. No refund will be given.

2. Permitted Items

• Only personal items are allowed to be sold.

• Items must be clean, safe, and in reasonable condition for resale.

3. Prohibited Items

• Food Products: No food or drink items are to be sold, including homemade or pre

packaged goods.

• Alcohol

• Offensive or Adult Items

• Cosmetic Items: No cosmetics, including but not limited to makeup, skincare, or

personal hygiene products, are allowed.

• Knives, Weapons or Sharp Implements

• Handmade Items: No handmade or crafted goods may be sold, as this event is not

intended for artisans or craft sellers.

4. Vendor Responsibilities

• Each participant is responsible for the setup, presentation, and supervision of their

goods.

5. Event Management Rights

• Event organisers reserve the right to inspect all items for sale and to remove any vendor

not adhering to the terms and conditions.

• Organisers may terminate a vendor’s participation at any time if these rules are violated. No refund will be given.

6. Safety and Conduct

• Vendors and attendees must maintain respectful and courteous behaviour at all times. Anyone found being rude to staff, customers or other traders will be asked to leave. No refund will be given.

• Packing up before the end of the sale is not permitted and is a breach of customer health and safety. 

By registering for the yard sale, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please note, failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in removal from the event without refund or compensation.

7. Failure to supply

 The Steamworks shall be under no liability for delay or failure to provide the services as a result of any act or circumstances beyond reasonable control including but not limited to, Act of God, legislation, injury, terrorism, war, fire, failure of power supply, bad weather conditions, lock down or strike.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All bookings are final. The stall fee is non refundable and cannot be transferred to other events. Please see our cancellation policy for full details.

Once a stall is reserved it can only be transferred or cancelled if a replacement is found after the event is sold out and is at the discretion of the organisers.

If accepted this will incur a £10 cancellation charge depending on how close to the event your cancellation is received and how much work our bookings team have to do to book in the replacement stall, alter the floor plans, resend promo and stall holder emails etc.
